Connect with the city! The 25th anniversary collaboration project of the first issue of the magazine has started!

Leaf, a town information magazine for Kyoto and Shiga, celebrates its 25th anniversary with your support.
A quarter of a century has passed, and starting with this commemorative special issue (April 24 issue) and throughout the year, "Leaf" will take on the challenge of 25 collaborative projects that connect with the city.
The first five contents will connect with stores, people, and businesses, including the hotel's special menu, popular YouTube dramas, and up-and-coming pastry chefs.
Let's enjoy Kyoto and Shiga more deeply.

1.Lunch at the Hotel

For the first collaboration project, we asked a hotel restaurant to cooperate with us to prepare an original Leaf benefit that would be a delightful addition to the luxury lunch course.
In addition to a relaxing space and excellent service, the hotel restaurant, which is committed to thorough infection control measures, is perfect for a first meal out in a while or a holiday lunch that requires a little extra pampering.
Check out the unique lunch courses at each hotel.

2.Director Umasugi of YouTube drama "Oyaji Camp Mei" goes! Kyoto, New China Research [Coming Soon].

The YouTube drama "Oyaji Camping Meal" was released on YouTube in October 2020 and became an instant hit with 1 million views in one month and 2 million views in two months. The film was shot at Kuta-no-sato Auto Campsite in the suburbs of Kyoto. Director Umasugi, who lives in Kyoto, created "Oyaji Camping Mei" with his friends, and has decided to produce a new season. We went on a one-day trip with director Umasugi, who is preparing for the release of Season 2 this winter, and the Leaf editorial staff to three unique Chinese restaurants in search of hints for his next film.

3.A direct interview with a young chef couple! What a sweet, fun and rich space to spend time with your loved ones...[coming soon]!

In May 2021, a rich space will appear in a building in Shijo Teramachi, central Kyoto.
The name of the space, which can be accessed from all three floors, is Riche huit.
The 2nd floor offers a dessert course limited to 8 seats, and the 3rd and 4th floor cafes offer seasonal tartlets. The name "Riche" means "rich" and is associated with the 8 seats where Hachette Desserts are served.
A new stage for entertaining couples is created by combining the French word "huit" (=8 in French),
It is inevitable that it will attract attention from sweets fans in the future.
Before the opening of the new store, which is extremely busy,
It is the place where chef Yuta Nawano and pastry chef Sayaka met,
The Leaf editorial staff visited the kitchen at MOTOI, where prototypes were repeatedly made until the opening.
