創業65周年を迎える［泉屋博古館（せんおくはくこかん）］がリニューアルオープン

2025年に創業65年目を迎える東山・鹿ヶ谷の［泉屋博古館］（京都府京都市左京区）が、2025年4月26日（土）にリニューアルオープンした。1970年に竣工した1号館は、同年に開催された大阪万博の際に、世界各国から訪れる人々をもてなす迎賓館として誕生した。展示室のリノベーションや増設、収蔵庫の増設、新しいバリアフリー設備や衛生空間の整備など、ホスピタリティとサステナビリティに富む美術館へと生まれ変わった。
国内外で高く評価された当館の主役である青銅器コレクションを展示する「青銅器館」もリニューアルし、また1986年に竣工した2号館には新たな展示室が新設。念願のミュージアムショップも誕生し、オリジナルグッズも登場。緑豊かな東山の魅力はそのままに、多くの来館者が癒やされる空間となる同館のこれからに注目だ。
