Grill Koho / Grill Kodakara
A long-established Western-style restaurant with an old-fashioned taste established in 1961, not far from the Kyoto Zoo. Toei Uzumasa Movie Village
It was established in 1975 as Japan's first theme park where visitors can immerse themselves in the world of movies through open sets and events and attractions from the world of movies and television. In addition to filming sets of period dramas, there are many attractions that parents and children can enjoy together, such as a three-dimensional maze and a haunted house. The park is scheduled to reopen in autumn 2025.

Located behind JR Hanazono Station, this café has a warm atmosphere where you can enjoy homemade fresh pasta and desserts. There is a wide selection of pasta with about 20 varieties. The owner, Ms. Shimizu, insists on handmade products as much as possible, from whole wheat pasta to focaccia, bacon, liver paste, and sweets such as cheesecake and gateau chocolat. Arashiyama Monkey Park / Arashiyama Monkey Park
Approximately 120 Japanese macaques live in the wild at this facility. A 20-minute hike up a paved mountain road leads to the summit, from which a panoramic view of Arashiyama can be enjoyed. There are swings and seesaws at the top of the mountain, and visitors can experience feeding the monkeys in a hut. Visitors can watch baby monkeys playing and practicing to bring food to their mouths as they go about their daily routines. Baby strollers are allowed, but should be avoided because of the mountain path. It is recommended to leave them at the reception.
