Since its establishment in 1927, Umezono has been serving sweet treats with the utmost sincerity. The Teramachi Sanjo branch, which blends naturally into the bustle of the shopping street, offers a relaxing break in a retro café-style space that evokes Taisho Romanticism. Since its establishment, the shop has been famous for its carefully baked Mitarashi dumplings, which are freshly made, warm, and fragrant. Mitarashi dumplings, which are filled with homemade sweet-and-sour sauce, are also available for take-out and can be brought back as souvenirs.
