Shiga Prefecture designates the period from November 3, "Biwaichi Day," to November 9 as Biwaichi Week, and holds events on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays every year. This year again, a variety of events are planned, including special rest stops and aid stations where visitors can purchase Biwaichi products such as Biwaichi yokans and Biwaichi cookies, stage events, guided tours, and more.
The theme of this year's event is "You don't have to go around Lake Biwa to enjoy Shiga by bicycle, it's already Biwaichi! is this year's theme. Take this opportunity to travel around Shiga Prefecture by bicycle.
