Kawauchi's works are characterized by their unique pale tones filled with soft light, and capture the mystery, brilliance, fragility, and strength of human beings, animals, and all forms of life. This exhibition, Kawauchi's first large-scale solo exhibition in Japan in six years, focuses on his activities over the past ten years, weaving together previously unpublished works to explore the essence of his work.
