Mentai Park Biwako, a theme park specializing in mentaiko (cod roe), opened in Yasu City, Shiga Prefecture, on December 10, 2021 (Friday).
Visitors can enjoy mentaiko (cod roe) to the fullest at the mentaiko factory, which offers free tours, a corner where freshly made mentaiko is sold directly, and a food corner where mentaiko gourmet foods can be enjoyed to the fullest. Other facilities include a kids' corner where children can play all day long and a sunset terrace with a view of Lake Biwa and Mount Hiei. Everyone from adults to children will be happy to enjoy themselves.
