[Myorenji Temple] The main temple of Honmon Hokke sect where seasonal flowers bloom

The temple was relocated several times before settling in this location in 1587. The fact that there are eight pagodas in the temple suggests that it was a large temple. The repository houses many cultural assets, including paintings by Hasegawa Tohaku and his school, as well as the Matsuosha Zenkyō. There is a dry landscape garden called "Jyuroku Arhat no Ishi Niwa" (Sixteen Arhats Stone Garden), in which a large blue reclining stone was moved from Fushimi Castle by Lord Hideyoshi.
