Within walking distance are Nanzenji Temple and Heian Shrine, and adjacent to Murinan. The inn also has something in common with the famous scenic spot in its Japanese garden, which has a history dating back to before the opening of the inn, and the trees that add color to the four seasons, thanks to the use of the Lake Biwa Canal. All 40 rooms are equipped with hinoki-scented hot spring baths, and the neat latticework and subtle lighting create an atmospheric atmosphere.
