2025年8月1日（金）〜31日（日）の期間、［おたべ本館］と［atelier京ばあむ］（京都府京都市南区）で『サマフェス』が開催される。京都土産で人気の「おたべ」や「京ばあむ」を製造する工場を併設した両施設で、ものづくりが体験できる参加型イベントを多数実施。工場見学（事前予約制）で商品の美味しさの秘密に迫ったり、自分だけのオリジナルパッケージの京ばあむボックスが作れたりと、夏休みのお出かけや自由研究にもぴったりの内容となっている。［atelier京ばあむ］3Fのカフェでは、両施設の商品を食べ比べできる限定プレートも登場。夏の京都で、思い出に残る甘い体験を楽しんでみて。
