The 37th Honganji Noryo Bon Dance will be held at Nishi Honganji Temple (Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture) on July 31 (Thursday) and August 1 (Friday), 2025. This is the largest Bon Odori event in Kyoto, and there will be many events for both children and adults to enjoy, such as entertainment stages and taiko drum performances. During the festival, "Honganji Gourmet Street," where about 40 kitchen cars will be lined up in the northern precincts of the temple, will also make an appearance, offering a full range of gourmet food stalls.
