2025年8月9日（土）〜17日（日）の期間、［舞鶴赤れんがパーク］（京都府舞鶴市）で17年ぶりに『恐竜王国inまいづるリターンズ』が開催される。［福井県立恐竜博物館］協力のもと、アロサウルス、ステゴサウルス、トリケラトプスの全身骨格標本やティラノサウルスの頭骨など、約20点もの迫力ある展示がずらり。さらに舞鶴周辺で発見された「世界で最も美しい」と言われるピカリア化石の実物やアンモナイトなどの貴重な化石も登場。アンモナイト消しゴム作りや化石発掘体験といったワークショップも土・日曜限定で企画され、子どもから大人まで楽しめる内容になっている。夏休みの自由研究やお出掛けに、家族で訪れてみて。
