From March 20, 2024 (Wed., national holiday) to April 7, 2024 (Sun.), "Spring Special Open House" will be held at Reikanji Monzeki (Sakyo-ku, Kyoto City).
Known as the "temple of camellia," the garden is home to more than 100 varieties of camellias, including the Nikko camellia (designated as a natural treasure by Kyoto City), scattered camellia, white peony camellia, and Maizuru camellia, which bloom at different times of the year, allowing visitors to enjoy different scenery at different times of the year.
Also, look out for the original red seal book, which can only be purchased during the open period, and red seals decorated with camellias.
