Rokuo-in Temple

Rokuoin Temple was built by Ashikaga Yoshimitsu in 1379 (the first year of the Koureki era), and its origin is the pagoda that opened Hodananji Temple.
2025年11月21日（金）～12月14日（日）の期間、夜間特別拝観開催される。嵐山らしい竹林の両サイドには新たに石が設置され、ライトアップの際にも散策が可能に。また約3年がかりの修復工事が2023（令和5）年10月に完了した舎利殿も美しくライトアップされ、2024年は『嵯峨狂言プレミアムDAY』が設けられ、嵯峨狂言のショート演目を誰でも観覧できるようになった。
