2026年3月20日（金・祝）〜4月12日（日）の期間、［霊鑑寺門跡］（京都府京都市左京区）で通常は非公開の庭園や書院を含む『春の特別拝観』が開催される。
「椿の寺」として知られるこちらの庭園には、日光椿（京都市指定天然記念物）をはじめ、開花時期が異なる100種類以上もの椿が植えられており、訪れる時期によって違った景色を楽しむことができる。庭園入口には椿を用いたフォトスポットもあるので、色とりどりの色彩を写真に収めるのもおすすめ。また、今年は約360年前のものと伝わる雛人形（有職雛）の展示も実施。全長約110センチもあり、見ごたえのある大きさにも注目だ。公開期間中にしか購入できないオリジナル御朱印帳や椿があしらわれた御朱印も登場するので、この機会に訪れてみて。
