In commemoration of its 10th anniversary, Kyoto Tango Railway is currently running a collaboration project with the popular Sanrio character Kuromi, "Kuromi's Doki-Doki Tantetsu Diary", in which Kuromi and the seven Tango Princesses travel around with a special design wrapped train, "Kuromi's Tango Shichihime Train", which will run until December 5, 2025 (Friday). The train operates between Nishi Maizuru Station and Toyooka Station on the Miyamai Line and Miyatoyo Line until December 5, 2025 (Fri.).
The train cars are colorful and gorgeous, with Kuromi in a different costume and beautiful scenery and plants of the Tango region, inspired by the "Tango Seven Princesses" who have been handed down from generation to generation in Tango. Along the train line, original goods will be sold, a digital stamp rally will be held, and character panels will be set up at stations and tourist spots to add color to the trip. Enjoy a train trip with Kuromi while admiring the beautiful scenery along the Tango Line.
