This afternoon tea is a collaboration with Kyoto confectioner Shichijo Ganshundo, where you can enjoy a menu of mainly Japanese and Western sweets made with homemade kanoko beans and red bean paste cooked with Higashiyama water and other carefully selected ingredients. [The menu includes two Japanese sweets and five Western sweets from Shichijo Ganshundo, as well as seven savory items that go well with the Japanese sweets, such as Temari sushi wrapped in pickled vegetables. The plates are custom-made and made of Kitayama cedar and high-quality lacquered plates.
