From December 23 (Fri.) to 25 (Sun.), 2022, Christmas events including Candle Night will be held at Kitayama Church of Kyoto Northern Church and Kitayama Le Ange Church.
［At Kyoto Northern Church Kitayama, visitors can enjoy decorating a Christmas tree and taking photos at a photo spot. ［At Kitayama Le Ange Church, workshops for making ornaments will be held in the romantic church with flickering candles. A Christmas wagon will be parked in front of the church, serving warm soup and cocoa.

Scandinavian Food Stall Christmas Market" is being held at JR Kyoto Isetan until December 25 (Sun.), 2022.

Japan's largest lantern festival will be held at the Kyoto Prefectural Kizugawa Sports Park from December 23 (Fri.) to 25 (Sun.), 2022.
The spectacle of more than several thousand lanterns floating in the sky above the city, lighting up the winter night sky, is a sight to behold. The venue will also feature a food market, Christmas store, and circus games to make the most of the Christmas season.
