Recruitment of Kaientai and Rikuentai members

Kyoto Central Market's member event, Rikuentai , is now accepting applications!

Do you know about the Kyoto Central Market's membership system, where you can get fresh and valuable "food" information?
Our membership program was established in 2004 to foster knowledge about food and markets and to think about the state of food, and was largely renewed in FY2018. We hold events that can be enjoyed by a wide range of people, from children to the elderly, and promote the appeal of markets and food more broadly. Become a member and become a fan of Kyoto's food hub [Kyoto Central Market].

Experience of production area / October 21, 2023

We will resume the "Support Activities for Production Areas" with a new name and a new program, which aims to let members get to know the production sites and become supporters and helpers of production areas through harvesting experiences at the production sites and interaction with producers!
This year's program is Kyoto vegetables. This year, we will visit the production area of Kyo-kobabu, experience harvesting and listen to the producer's story. After the harvest experience, a cooking class using Kyo kokabu will be held at Ajiawaikan, where participants will eat it for lunch.
The event will be held on Saturday, and we invite you to join us and your family!
