A heart-pounding pudding with a gorgeous aroma that spreads in the mouth.

Bistro été was opened in 2009 by the owner-chef who grew up in Kameoka, attracted by the environment where he could feel close to nature. Following Sannenbancha Purin, Bistro été's third product, Premium Purin with a fruity aroma, was created. The carefully selected ingredients, such as non-homogenized pasteurized milk from carefully selected feed and eggs from hens raised in a free-range environment, have been preserved, and the rich aroma of fruits and flowers has been locked in. Eight kinds of dried fruits, including strawberries and blackberries, and hibiscus are simmered in milk to create a dough with a sweet aroma and a soothing taste. It is recommended to compare the three types of puddings at Bistro Ete, where you can feel the owner's love for pudding.

Bistro Ete stands in a quiet residential area along the railroad tracks. The owner chef, who grew up in Kameoka, was attracted to the environment where he could feel close to nature, and opened the restaurant in his hometown in 2009. Ete" means "summer" in French and is named after his family. The white-based interior has a bright and homey atmosphere. The floor is made of natural oak wood, and the style of the restaurant is characterized by the fact that customers take off their shoes, which is unusual for a restaurant. You can feel the owner's wish that customers can enjoy French cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere.

Mr. Kaneko, who has honed his skills at hotels and Western-style restaurants, offers French cuisine that can be enjoyed as a course both during the day and at night. He carefully prepares each dish without any eccentricity, aiming for "a taste that can be enjoyed by anyone. The restaurant's motto is to make the most of local ingredients, such as using fresh seasonal vegetables purchased directly from farmers in Kameoka. The vegetables are fresh and colorful, and the beautiful presentation of the dishes is also a sight to behold. Other customers can enjoy the fusion of French cuisine and ingredients unique to this location, such as Kameoka beef. Today, most of the customers are regulars, but some come all the way from their hometown of Kameoka, as well as from other places such as Kyoto Tanba and Kyoto City. Many people use the restaurant for special dishes on celebratory occasions. In the evening, you can also enjoy wine and other alcoholic beverages with them.
