Adults' favorite pudding with the aroma of matured Bancha green tea

Bistro été was opened in 2009 by the owner-chef, who grew up in Kameoka and was attracted by the natural surroundings. été's premium sannen-bancha green tea plin is made with carefully selected ingredients, including non-homogenized pasteurized milk and eggs from free-range hens. The dough and caramel are made from three-year-ripened sannen-bancha tea grown without the use of pesticides in Ujitawara, a tea-producing region in southern Kyoto, and aged for three years. The rich flavor of bancha tea fills the mouth with a taste that is suitable for adults. The smooth texture of the dough is also impressive, so enjoy the taste of the dough itself in the first bite, and then add the caramel sauce, which is served separately, in the second bite.

Bistro Ete stands in a quiet residential area along the railroad tracks. The owner chef, who grew up in Kameoka, was attracted to the environment where he could feel close to nature, and opened the restaurant in his hometown in 2009. Ete" means "summer" in French and is named after his family. The white-based interior has a bright and homey atmosphere. The floor is made of natural oak wood, and the style of the restaurant is characterized by the fact that customers take off their shoes, which is unusual for a restaurant. You can feel the owner's wish that customers can enjoy French cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere.

The owner, who has honed his skills at hotels and Western-style restaurants, offers French cuisine that can be enjoyed as a course both day and night. He carefully prepares each dish without any eccentricity, aiming for "a taste that can be enjoyed by anyone. The restaurant's motto is to make the most of local ingredients, such as using fresh seasonal vegetables purchased directly from farmers in Kameoka. The vegetables are fresh and colorful, and the beautiful presentation of the dishes is also a sight to behold. Other customers can enjoy the fusion of French cuisine and ingredients unique to this location, such as Kameoka beef. Today, most of the customers are regulars, but some come all the way from their hometown of Kameoka, as well as from other places such as Kyoto Tanba and Kyoto City. Many people use the restaurant for special dishes on celebratory occasions. In the evening, you can also enjoy wine and other alcoholic beverages with them.
