On Sunday, September 14, 2025, "Kyoto Maizuru Bayside Festa," a major event at Maizuru Port, and "Blue Festa 2025," sponsored by the Japan Coast Guard, will be jointly held. The Bayside Festa will feature a dog run, a miniature train experience, kitchen cars, and a marché, as well as performances by the Nishi-Maizuru High School Brass Band and the Coast Guard Academy Band. The Blue Festa will feature an open house of working vessels, vehicle exhibits, and aircraft display flights, adding to the excitement of Maizuru Harbor.
