On October 4 (Sat.) and 5 (Sun.), 2025, "Michi-1 Grand Prix 2025" will be held to decide the No. 1 Michi no Eki Gourmet at "Michi no Eki Tango Kingdom: Miyako of Food" (Kyotango City, Kyoto Prefecture) in Tango, Kyoto.
This is an annual festival where carefully selected signature gourmet products from roadside stations in all 47 prefectures of Japan are gathered together. About 20 roadside stations offering a rich variety of soul food, including unknown delicacies using local ingredients, nostalgic traditional local cuisine, and new sensory cuisine with a big impact, will line the streets of the stations. The grand prix will be decided by the votes of visitors, so your vote may make the difference between the winner and the loser.
