京都・八幡市がふるさと納税活性化に向けた新プロジェクトを始動
ふるさと納税のさらなる活性化を目指した取り組みを本格化している八幡市が、2025年4月にふるさと創生課を新設。全国最年少の女性市長・川田翔子氏が先頭に立ち、市内の商工業者や農家などと連携。返礼品にも活用可能な特産品の掘り起こしや、八幡市の地域ブランド・ヤワタカラの認定とプロモーションを進めている。
また、2025年4月25日（金）には大阪府泉佐野市と特産品相互取扱協定を締結し、それぞれの自治体が開催するイベントで特産品のPRや物産施設における販売が可能となった。すでに複数のイベントへの参加が始まっており、5月24日（土）・25日（日）には泉佐野市の物産館［まるかじりJAPAN］にてヤワタカラの商品が販売され、多くの来場者が手に取った。イベントの場をきっかけに、特産品の魅力に触れる機会が少しずつ広がっている。
寄附を通じて、地元の“おいしい・うれしい”を全国に届ける八幡市の工夫に注目して。
