東洞院六角で100年続く自転車店［辻森自転車商会］の2号店［100bikeskyoto with coffee］（京都府京都市中京区）が、四条大宮にオープン。こちらはレンタルサイクルと本格コーヒーが楽しめるちょっとユニークな場所。

オーストラリアでバリスタの経験を積んだ［Hi MATE］店主が作る本場オーストラリア人に好評のカプチーノ570円。オリジナルのチョコレートクッキー380円は、懐かしい味わいのソフトタイプ。ごろっとしたチョコレートと塩がアクセント

カフェスペースでは、［Hi MATE］や［Lifee coffee］といったコーヒーブランドが日替わりで登場。スタッフとの何気ない会話もこの店の楽しみのひとつだ。オーストラリアスタイルの浅煎りコーヒーは軽やかな口当たりで、手作りの焼き菓子も人気。

店主の宮本さんが愛する自転車は、スタイリッシュで乗り心地もよく、乗るだけで気分が上がるものばかり。四条大宮からは、［二条城］や嵐山、［八坂神社］まで40分ほどで行くことができるなど、観光地へのアクセスもばっちり。京都の街は意外と平坦でサイクリングにぴったりなのだとか。

自転車用のドリンクホルダーも販売されているので、コーヒー片手に気ままにサイクリングするのもおすすめ。いつもの京都をちょっと違う角度で楽しんでみては。
