On Saturday, September 13, 2025, the “SHIGA CRAFT BEER FESTA” will be held at [Otsu Port Symbol Green Park] (Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture). This popular event brings together 14 craft breweries from Shiga Prefecture and local restaurants. Now in its third year, the festival has moved to a new venue and expanded in scale. Visitors can enjoy tasting beers from different breweries and pairing them with food. The festival also features a collaboration with lake cruises, offering a more dynamic way to experience the charm of Lake Biwa. Furthermore, the “Lake Biwa Otsu Biwakoi Festival,” a summer festival that adds color to Otsu’s summer, will be held in an adjacent area on the same day. Come and enjoy a special day where the entire lakeshore comes alive with music, food, and culture.
