On Saturday, October 18, 2025, the “Nagahama Fest 2025” will be held at [Ekimachi Terrace Nagahama] (Nagahama City, Shiga Prefecture), located in front of JR Nagahama Station. Organized to promote the charms of Nagahama City and its deep-rooted drinking culture, the event will feature a “Single Malt Bottle-Making Experience” where participants can blend their own original whiskey, as well as other hands-on activities using wood from whiskey barrels. In addition to vendors from Nagahama City, craft breweries and restaurants from across Shiga Prefecture will set up stalls, allowing visitors to enjoy delicious food alongside drinks.
