Kyoto Cooking Class for Parents and Children

Experience the Charm of Kyoto Cuisine with Your Kids! Registration for This Year’s “Kyoto Cuisine Parent-Child Workshop” Is Now Open

The popular event “Kyoto Cuisine Parent-Child Experience Class,” where parents and children can learn about Kyoto cuisine together, will be held again this year for elementary and middle school students living in or attending school in Kyoto City, along with their parents. Through a series of six sessions and hands-on activities, participants will learn about the history and culture of Kyoto cuisine and the spirit of hospitality. The program also includes “dashi tasting,” “market tours,” and “harvesting experiences at farms.” Participants will also have the opportunity to dine at an actual Kyoto cuisine restaurant.
Kyoto cuisine offers much more than just a meal—there are plenty of highlights to enjoy, from the hospitality and room decor to the tableware and utensils. Don’t miss this valuable opportunity to learn about traditional Japanese culture in a fun way. This summer vacation, take a class taught by professionals from various fields and experience the charm of Kyoto cuisine.
*Open to parents and children who can participate in all sessions (6 sessions) of the course and trial sessions.
