The “Ishikawa Prefecture Support Fair” will be held over two days, Saturday, September 26, and Sunday, September 27, 2026, at [Kyoto Porta] (Shimogyo Ward, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture), which is directly connected to Kyoto Station.
More than 60 companies from Ishikawa Prefecture participated in this event, which was organized to support the recovery and reconstruction of the Noto region in Ishikawa Prefecture, which was struck by a double disaster consisting of an earthquake and heavy rains in Oku-Noto. The event brings together more than 200 carefully selected local delicacies and specialty products from various parts of Ishikawa Prefecture—including Noto—such as processed seafood, Japanese and Western sweets, condiments, and alcoholic beverages.
In addition, posters highlighting the current status of recovery and reconstruction efforts in the Noto region will be on display at the venue, and Ms. Chieko Nakayama, who serves as a “Noto Travel Guide,” will be invited to present the region’s tourist attractions and lesser-known charms.
Experience the charms of Noto in Ishikawa Prefecture, buy and enjoy delicious local specialties, and support Noto’s recovery!
