The museum showcases 74 traditional industries of Kyoto City, including Nishijin-ori, Kyoto Yuzen, and Kyoto-yaki and Kiyomizu-yaki pottery, and introduces the appeal of these crafts through videos of the production process and hands-on exhibits. Through guided tours, hands-on activities, and displays of tools and materials, visitors can learn about and enjoy the background, manufacturing processes, and techniques behind these crafts.
