The music event “YOKABAN in Kyoto” will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at the [Kamishichiken Kaburenjo] (Kamigyo Ward, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture), located in Kamishichiken, Kyoto’s oldest geisha district. This historic venue, which has long served as a stage for traditional performing arts, is also known as a filming location for the movie “National Treasure.” Performers at this event include Tab Zombie, the trumpeter from SOIL & “PIMP” SESSIONS; Kazuha Izawa, known as the keyboardist for the HIATUS and Tokyo Jihen; and Ryosuke Nagaoka, a member of The Petrols and Tokyo Jihen who also serves as a backing guitarist for artists such as Gen Hoshino. In addition to solo performances by each artist, the trio will also perform a special session together.
In addition, the garden area will be open before the performance begins, featuring hands-on activities that allow visitors to experience local culture, such as Kagoshima tea, shochu, and bamboo crafts. Enjoy this special moment where music and culture come together.
