Limited-Edition Sweets Are Here! Enjoy “Mulberry Day” at [Wakuden no Mori] in Early Fall / Wakuden no Mori

September 8, 2026 (Tue) – September 13, 2026 (Sun)
Wakuden no Mori

From Tuesday, September 8, to Sunday, September 13, 2026, “Wakuden Mulberry Days”—an event to learn about and savor the mulberry, the symbol of the forest—will be held at [Wakuden no Mori] (Kyotango City, Kyoto Prefecture).
[Wakuden no Mori] is a destination where nature, food, and art converge—created by the long-established Kyoto ryotei [Wakuden], which planted 30,000 trees of 56 different species in Kyotango, the region where the restaurant was founded. The grounds feature the [House in the Forest: Mitsumasa Yasuno Museum], which displays works by painter Mitsumasa Yasuno; the [Kumihama Workshop], where [Wakuden] products are manufactured; and the restaurant [MORI Wakuden].
During the “Wakuden: Mulberry Day” event, [MORI Wakuden] will offer a limited quantity of mulberry-based sweets to visitors of the [House in the Forest: Mitsumasa Anno Museum]. Additionally, visitors to the [Kumihama Workshop] will receive special, limited-time tasting samples as a gift (In both cases, this is in reference to “9.8 = mulberry,” and is limited to the first 98 visitors each day).
In addition, on the final day, Sunday, September 13, admission to the [House in the Forest: Mitsumasa Anno Museum] will be free for residents of Kyotango City. Visitors will receive a voucher that can be exchanged for a limited-time tasting sample at [Kumihama Kobo].
Gaze at the forest, experience art, and savor local cuisine—come and enjoy a unique experience you can only find here.
