The annual event “The 29th Kyoto Museum Road,” which allows visitors to experience culture while strolling through the city and visiting the museums and art galleries scattered throughout Kyoto, is being held through Sunday, March 15, 2026.
This year marks the 29th edition of the event, with a record-high 102 facilities participating. A variety of exhibits and hands-on activities have been organized, each showcasing the unique expertise of the participating facilities.
In addition, we’re holding a stamp rally where, if you collect three stamps from participating facilities and submit your entry, you’ll be entered into a drawing to win one of 102 items from a total of 34 types of wonderful museum merchandise from the participating facilities. Take this opportunity to visit the facilities that interest you, create your own unique museum route, and experience Kyoto’s culture firsthand.
