2025年4月25日（金）〜9月7日（日）の期間、［京都市京セラ美術館］（京都府京都市左京区）にて、世界的前衛芸術家・草間彌生氏の初の大規模版画展『松本市美術館所蔵 草間彌生 版画の世界―反復と増殖―』が開催される。
本展では、草間氏の故郷・長野県松本市にある［松本市美術館］が所蔵する版画作品に作家蔵の作品を加えた約330点を展示。富士山を主題に浮世絵の木版画を用いた連作や、約4年を掛けて制作された「愛はとこしえ」シリーズなど、見どころ満載の内容となっている。会期中は全作品が前期・後期で入れ替わるので2度訪れるのもおすすめ。独自のモチーフが織りなす色彩豊かな世界を、京都で体感してみて。
