Kameya Yoshinaga, a Kyoto confectionery shop founded in 1803, is collaborating with the plush toy and lifestyle goods brand “mojojojo”! Products modeled after the popular “Todd friends” characters will be available in limited quantities at retail stores in Kyoto and Osaka, as well as on the official online store.
“mojojojo,” created by plush toy artist Ayumi Ozaki, captivates with the unique expressions and simple warmth of its plush toys, each one hand-sewn. This time, we’ve captured the distinctive cuteness of “mojojojo” in the form of the Japanese confectionery known as “kohakuto.” The lineup features “Nicky,” a blue cat whose heart-shaped nose is its standout feature, and “You never know,” a bird with strikingly round eyes. Each piece is carefully die-cut by artisans and hand-painted to create adorable expressions. Packaged in a special checkered box, these treats are a sight to soothe the soul.
Made from agar and sugar, this amber candy is slowly dried to form sugar crystals on the surface, giving it a crisp, crunchy texture. Don’t miss this special collaboration, where you can enjoy its gentle sweetness and the warmth that comes from being handmade.
